This video is from a reel of my father's (Alfred Lossing's) collection of 8mm and Super 8mm film that was transferred to 8mm digital video tape (digital analog) and later transferred by Matt Ward to digital files. This project, in its formative state, is a legacy created by my father. The current state includes my mother and I saving the films from mouldy boxes stored in the basement and quickly splicing the 50 foot reels onto 500 foot reels. As such, it forms the last work that my mother and I did together, before her cognitive abilities rapidly deteriorated. I was home for a short visit, and wanted to get this done with her. One of my hopes in sharing these is that people will share what they know about the filmed events in the comments. I certainly do not know all of the people that show up in these videos, so another hope I have is that we can pull together a full list of who appear in these videos.
