Branching Scenario - Fire Service - Incident Commander Simulation

This is a work in progress with Langley City Fire Rescue. The decision tree is complete with some of the injects in place. With video no longer playing without an initial click in browsers anymore, the user needs to click the video player to start the animation. This is not the case with a SCORM module in an LMS, where the video plays when the slide is visited. As such, the player controls can be removed from the video player skin, if you have that control. If not, a simple solution is to place a rectangular shape over the player control and match the colour to the background. I am using video because I found that with the injects built into the simulation as .GIF files, the load time is far too laggy to be effective.

Problem: Incident commander in the Fire Service do not get enough opportunities to practice decision making, either in traditional table top simulations or on the fire ground.

Solution: Provide practice through computer-based simulations, with flow path video to demonstrate ventilation effects on the combustibles and command boards to model resource distribution.
